This is a traditional carbon steel blade finished in a durable black finish, so it can accept a very sharp edge. This is a full tang blade that runs up through the handle. Overall length 10.75".

The handle is a sure grip molded plastic.

The molded sheath is a fiberglass reinforced resin for a long life without rotting or mildew.
Attaches to military belts and comes with a leg tie-down. Includes a tough delrin type hanger so the belt may also be tied down to equipment instead of a belt. The sheath and knife blade is designed so the knife "locks" into the sheath to maintain solid retention in the sheath, even when the snap lock nylon straps are not used. There are two nylon snap lock straps. One for the handle, one for the bolster.

This is a very nice knife for the money.
