Most mirrored lenses are coated in silver oxide which does a pretty good job of helping to reflect glare. The lenses of the Eliminator GT are coated in Titanium Dioxide and silica, a process originally developed by NASA engineers for pilots and space travel.

The titanium dioxide significantly reduces glare, increases contrast, helps to protect lenses from scratches and provides total ultraviolet ray protection. The underlying lens tint is smoke/gray so there is no red tint cast when viewing through the lenses. The red mirror is a true solid red, not multi-color red.

The Eliminator GT has a black vented frame, soft airy foam for long term comfort and a fully adjustable wide strap.

These are designed specifically for comfort on long rides. The size allows the top of the gasket to ride on or just above your brow and the lower portion rides on on your cheekbone. A lot of goggles tend to intrude into the ocular orb creating discomfort over time or places pressure on your sinus area. For short runs those type of smaller goggles are fine, but if you spend hours on the road, there is nothing better than the eliminator. It is an extraordinarily comfortable goggle.

The lenses run from top to bottom about 2 1/4" tall, about the size of a standard aviator sunglass lens. The side to side the lenses run about 2 3/4" wide. These are not small, but they aren't as big as a single shield type goggle. If you had to put a label on it, you could define it as a medium size goggle. We like to call the "Perfect Sized Goggle".

To add to its comfort, the foam is very soft and airy. And, combined with the 1" wide strap, it allows for a relatively loose fit all the way around. It doesn't feel like it's pinching off the upper half of your head.
